DESCRIPTION

The Hertex Teak Tree Wallpaper re-imagines the familiar tropical leaf as a quiet piece of wall art. Rather than bold botanical silhouettes, softly layered leaves overlap one another like pages from a sketchbook, creating a surface that feels artistic, relaxed and beautifully lived in.

Each leaf carries the appearance of dry-brush paint across a canvas-textured ground, with visible brush marks, gentle tonal shifts and softly drawn veins giving the design remarkable depth. The overlapping composition creates movement without feeling busy, allowing the wall to become a calm backdrop rather than a dominant feature.

The Vanilla colourway blends warm cream, soft beige and gentle warm grey into a beautifully balanced neutral palette. It pairs effortlessly with oak, linen, travertine, natural stone and woven textures, making it particularly suited to living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and boutique-inspired interiors.

Curated by Hertex as part of the Zanzibar Collection, this Belgian-designed wallpaper combines beautifully considered craftsmanship with practical everyday performance. The vinyl surface is extra washable and durable, while the non-woven backing allows for straightforward paste-the-wall installation and clean strippable removal.

La Muur Notes:

What we loved most about this wallpaper is that it feels illustrated rather than printed. From across the room, the overlapping leaves create a wonderfully subtle and relaxed pattern. Up close, the visible canvas texture and dry-brush marks make each leaf feel individually drawn.

It’s one of those wallpapers that turns an entire wall into artwork, with the soft, hand-drawn finish keeping the bold botanical pattern feeling beautifully considered rather than overwhelming.

Installation

Paste-the-wall application.
No booking required.
Hang panels using an offset match with a 64cm vertical repeat to maintain the flowing botanical composition.
Panels hang dry and remove cleanly when needed.

Wall Preparation

Walls should be smooth, clean, dry and properly primed.

The heavier-weight construction of this wallpaper can help soften the appearance of minor wall imperfections, but proper wall preparation remains important for the best finish.

Bathroom Suitability

Suitable for bathrooms with good ventilation.
Avoid direct and repeated water contact.
