DESCRIPTION

The quiet beauty of natural bark

Inspired by the layered surface of tree bark, Hertex Angelo Wallpaper Alabaster brings a subtle organic texture to interior walls. Irregular, almost rectangular forms overlap vertically, creating a softly structured pattern that recalls the surface of a tree without the depth or roughness of real bark.

Its pale cream and light beige tones keep the effect gentle and luminous. Fine variations across the embossed surface create a quiet interplay of light and shadow, giving the wall depth without introducing a strong pattern or competing with the furnishings around it.

Alabaster works beautifully in bedrooms, living spaces and entrance halls where a natural, tactile finish is preferred to a plain painted wall. Its understated palette also makes it an adaptable backdrop for pale timber, natural linen, warm whites and other soft, organic materials.

Curated by Hertex as part of their Philosophy Collection, this Belgian-made wallpaper combines thoughtful craftsmanship with practical everyday performance. The vinyl surface is scrubbable and durable, while the non-woven backing allows for straightforward paste-the-wall installation and strippable dry removal when it’s time to redecorate.

La Muur Notes:

Alabaster is the lightest, most delicate expression of Angelo. The bark-like pattern is present without being heavy, bringing a little of the outdoors inside while keeping the room feeling open and calm.

We love the way the subtle relief becomes more apparent as the light shifts across the wall. It is the sort of texture that rewards a closer look – understated from a distance, but quietly engaging when you are standing beside it.
