DESCRIPTION

Natural texture, softly expressed

Hertex Angelo Wallpaper Birch takes its inspiration from the layered surface of tree bark, translating its irregular forms into a subtle, embossed wallcovering. Small rectangular shaped bark-inpired texture overlaps vertically, creating an organic pattern with a gentle sense of movement. The effect is reminiscent of trees weathered by the elements, softened into a more delicate and refined finish

Birch sits within a versatile palette of natural beige tones. Its understated colour allows the texture to take the lead, while the softly raised details introduce depth and a changing play of light and shadow. Rather than a pronounced woodgrain or a busy geometric design, the pattern feels irregular and naturally formed.

Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, studies and entrance halls, Birch provides a warm foundation for interiors built around natural materials. It pairs particularly well with timber, woven textures, linen and earthy neutrals, bringing character to the wall without overwhelming the room.

Curated by Hertex as part of their Philosophy Collection, this Belgian-made wallpaper combines thoughtful craftsmanship with practical everyday performance. The vinyl surface is scrubbable and durable, while the non-woven backing allows for straightforward paste-the-wall installation and strippable dry removal when it’s time to redecorate.

La Muur Notes:

Birch has an easy, natural warmth that makes it a particularly versatile colourway. The beige tones allow the bark-like relief to remain the main feature, giving the wall interest without demanding attention.

Its texture has a slightly African feel to it, reminiscent of the layered bark of a Leadwood tree. Used alongside natural wood, woven accessories and soft, filtered light, it can bring an understated lodge-like quality to a contemporary interior.
